High protein cake easy to make

Ever wanted to make you own protein cakes?

Make the best protein snacks

Buying protein bars and cakes can be expensive , here is a simple recipe to help you make your own protein snacks.

This can be used by vegans and vegetarians please read the note section below.

Ingredients List

4 whole eggs - (Or egg substitute)

4 TSP rice flower

2 scoops of whey protein powder

2 Tsp raisins

1 whole avocado

2 tsp coconut oil

2 Tsp Frozen blueberries

1 Tsp Chia seed / Flax seed

1 Xantham gum (or flax seed)

2 Tsp Sugar

Note – Xantham gum can be replaced with extra Chia seeds

Gluten free- Version

Vegetarian

Vegan

Egg white replacement can be used instead of eggs – (vegan)

Hemp powder/ pea powder/ soy can be used instead of whey powder.

(For non egg users add double the amount of coconut oil to the mixture)

Soya milk can be used to help create the mixture, add approximately 2 shots.

How To

Take one blender add 3 x eggs

Add rice flower, whey protein powder, xantham gum, sugar, chia / flax seed.

Blend until mixed equally mixed then add raisins band mix by hand.

Place in non stick baking tray.

Pre-heat the oven approximately -180c -200c

Leave the mixture at room temperature for approximately 10-20 mins

Add Blueberries Just before adding the mixture to the oven add frozen blue berries to the centre of the cakes ensuring you cover them with the doe add a layer of flax seed to the top to help esthetics and texture.

Bake for 15-20 mins Approximately -180 0c -200 0c always ensure food is piping hot and not too soft in the middle.

Allow to cool before enjoying.
